4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program offered to individuals age 5 and in Kindergarten to age 19. Youth are involved in hands-on, experiential learning that allows learning by doing. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills.

Defiance County 4-H Advisory Council
The Purpose of the Defiiance County 4-H Council is to plan, promote, and execute the 4-H program in this county; to further the exchange of ideas; and to stimulate stronger leadership among 4-H clubs and individuals.

Defiance County Frozen Food Sale Fundraiser:
This fundraiser raises approximately $800 each year with two different sales (Spring and Fall).  4-H Members are asked to distribute the order forms.  The customer will mail the order form to the Extension Office.  Pick up dates are on the form and the customer will pay at time of pick up.  Our county receives 12% of all sales. 

4-Hers can sell frozen food and earn prizes:
* The customer needs to indicate the 4-Her's name on the bottom of the order form.
$250.00 Total Sales --- get a $15 4-H Camp Scholarship OR a $15 Visa Gift Card
$500.00 Total Sales – get a $30 4-H Camp Scholarship OR a $25 Visa Gift Card
$750.00 Total Sales – get a $85 4-H Camp Scholarship OR a $50 Visa Gift Card
